It has been an exciting year.   The theme for my tenure as your president is REMEMBERING OUR PAST.THINKING OF OUR FUTURE.CARING FOR OUR STATE'S YOUTH!  Just as an important, our association conscientiously emphasizes one of inclusiveness  in response to the needs of our entire membership.  The AATA has taken on several initiatives since our annual meeting in April 2007 including the redesign of our website - the most visible platform  we have in this effort.  I hope that all members will find it informational.

As our annual state meeting approaches April 26-27 , I would like encourage everyone to attend as well as get involved with our 1 st Annual Golf Scramble and Silent Auction to be held Friday, April 25 .  Traci Byrd and Tara McDaniel are our event organizers.   I know they are reaching out to many of our membership for assistance, and I appreciate everything they are doing to make this a very successful event. 

Lastly, thanks again for allowing me to be your president and being able to WELCOME ALL AATA Members to our new website!
